Guilds give players even more to do, with a variety of guild-only tasks and quests to keep you busy throughout your play session.

Dino Storm is a free-to-play sci-fi western game that takes players on thrilling adventures, battles and more. The client-based game Dino Storm is set in the dusty plains of DinoVille, a town which has been terrorized by evil rogues, desperately performing acts of looting, spying, theft, and violence. Your mission in the online game Dino Storm is to band together with other players, jump aboard your own dinosaur mount, and prepare to battle these enemies that are terrifying the citizens of DinoVille.

Game Review:

My first life was unfortunately a short one being killed within 5 seconds of deployment and my second life wasn’t much longer. For some reason SOE thought the best way to teach players how the game works was to put them directly into a active combat zone. After a few more respawns and a few more deaths I got the basics of what was going on and managed to get to a safe area where I could finally figure out what the hell I was doing.

The controls are very similar to any other FPS you might have played, but the UI is very overwhelming with lots of icons all over the screen. I couldn’t tell if the icons were pointing out allies or enemies so I had a few incidences of friendly-fire in the beginning, but soon figured things out.

After about an hour of examining the classes, item shop, upgrades, the map and everything else, I got a pretty good feel for the game and was on my way.

For those wondering why I skipped character creation it’s because there is none. You’re character is covered in armor, which can be customized in-game via the item shop and unlocks, so there’s really no reason to have a character creation.

Planetside 2 is pretty much exactly what you would think it is. Take any FPS game, increase the map size 100 time, add a few thousands players and make it persistent and that pretty much sums up the game. Outposts and command centers are scattered around the map allowing factions to control them and gain resources from them, although this system seems to be flawed.

Twelve years is a long time to wait for a game, but the Diablo faithful have had to do just that since developer Blizzard released Diablo II in 2000. Since then people have leveled and looted for years and gradually mastered its gameplay systems. Blizzard too has learned a lot over the last decade, and has wisely applied these lessons to the design of Diablo III. At its most basic level, Diablo III is still largely the same game, but with flexible skill systems that encourage you to constantly reshape your hero into whatever you need them to be. In the end, Diablo’s classic, loot-driven formula where you pick from a few pre-determined classes and level them up proves to be incredibly addictive the third time around.

Some people love Diablo III for its story, and the third’s narrative is stronger than its predecessor, but still filled with clichés and predictable twists. But that doesn’t really matter all that much, because the story merely serves as a way to tie together the various dungeons and quests in your hunt for gear. Quality voice acting and some truly incredible cut-scenes between Acts help flesh out the universe, but past the first playthrough it’s not really anything worth paying attention to.

Khan Wars is a browser based strategy game which consists mainly of text and images. Like many games of this genre, Khan Wars has a medieval theme where player chose among various various nations each with their own bonuses. Unlike other strategy games, Khan Wars allows the construction of up to three buildings at a time which makes it much easier to progress through the game. The reason for this is that all of the servers (or worlds) in Khan Wars have a finite time limit and reset after a certain number of days. Game Review:

After the sign up process, which takes less than five minutes, players start the game by first creating a character by selecting gender, class (Fighter, Mage, Rogue), clothing, hair and skin color, and name. As seen through the in-browser window (with modest 800 x 600 resolution), you'll then be introduced to the town of Battleon, and be given a brief tour by a friendly human character known as Artix. You'll also meet other characters you can request to join on your adventures, such as the peaceful Moglin the Twilly, the valiant Robina Hood, Aquella the Water Elf, or pets you can select from Aria's shop, who are trained for battle.

Turn-based combat makes up most of the game-play, where your character and other members of your (computer-controlled) party face off against foes such as the Broadkil Bone-Drone, a lizard-like creature that whips you with a long tentacle, or Malzar, a huge beast with curled horns. At each battle, you'll have the choice to attack, drink a potion, cast a spell, call on a pet, equip a weapon or other item, or flee. After you defeat the baddie, you'll win experience points (XP), to "level up" your character, and gold, used to buy better items from shops.
